Battles in the game consist of two Pokemons where you and the other one maintains one Pokemon is the opponent. The gameplay character can be controlled and played from a top-down perspective. There is a big open world where you can discover many things and new regions. This game's gameplay is very much like Pokemon- Black, which consists of conversing with non-talking characters. You are required to stop the organization from fulfilling its plans and save the world. The game consists of a criminal organization, Team Plasma, from previous versions, which came back as Neo Team Plasma. You can discover new areas and do many new things in this game. The game's story follows where you return to the region of Unova after two years and after the events of the previous version of the game. Nintendo life praised this game for its understandable gameplay and stated that this game was one of the best of its time, giving it a score of 9/10. The only point on which the game was opposed was its lack of innovation as the game is very much like its previous versions. The overall addition of new features and improvement has been appreciated by IGN, where this game has also received a score of 9.6/10.
